Leadership Facilitator and Organizational Development Specialist

Position Overview:
CASE seeks an expert facilitator with cross-organizational experience to drive strategic planning and enhance leadership team (LT) performance. The ideal candidate will collaborate with client executive leadership to design and execute meetings and workshops, assist in developing actionable organizational change management plans, and work within the organization to strengthen team trust and collaboration. This position requires some travel to various meeting locations to support in-person engagements and deliver actionable insights and recommendations that advance organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning and Consultation:

    • Collaborate with executive leadership to define meeting objectives, develop engagement strategies, and align efforts with organizational priorities.

    • Provide expert advice and recommendations to improve strategic alignment and organizational performance.

  2. Meeting Facilitation:

    • Design agendas, facilitation processes, and customized materials for leadership retreats and meetings involving approximately 20 participants.

    • Facilitate discussions on strategic priorities, milestone execution, operational challenges, and leadership development.

    • Ensure meetings achieve objectives, including fostering trust and collaboration, resolving obstacles, and advancing strategic milestones.

  3. Session Development and Execution:

    • Prepare specialized materials for breakout group activities and discussions, including topics like sexual harassment prevention, team training, and field relations.

    • Facilitate multiple meeting sessions on topics such as strategy, team building, and leadership development.

    • Provide real-time documentation, analysis, and material compilation during meetings.

  4. Reporting and Follow-Up:

    • Produce comprehensive meeting reports summarizing findings, agreements, and actionable steps within three weeks of each meeting.

    • Deliver observations and recommendations to executive leadership to guide decision-making and organizational improvements.

  5. Coordination and Logistics:

    • Work with leadership to prepare pre-meeting materials and logistical requirements.

    • Consult on IT and other support needs for meetings.

    • Coordinate with leadership for meeting design and execution.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in organizational development, team building, and strategic facilitation.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and foster collaboration.

  • Strong analytical and documentation skills for producing actionable insights and reports.

  • Ability to travel as required to meeting venues.

  • Expertise in developing and executing agendas and materials for high-level strategic discussions.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with executive leadership dynamics and strategic planning processes.

  • Experience addressing sensitive topics such as harassment prevention and field/HQ relationship management.

  • Competence in adapting facilitation techniques to diverse organizational challenges.

Work Schedule and Requirements:
This role requires flexibility to travel for in-person meetings up to four times a year, participate in pre-meetings with leadership, and provide timely post-meeting deliverables. Responsiveness to organizational needs and the ability to work within tight deadlines are essential.
